Paul Evans – Managing Director and Co-Founder
Paul is the Managing Director and co-founder with Tony Ruane of Redstor Limited which they commenced in 1998. Paul started his career as a Lawyer with Shoosmiths and Harrison back in 1993 before realising this was not his vocation and decided to move into IT at the end of 1994. He subsequently joined Memory and then Shuttle Technology ending up as Business Development Director. In this role he spent 2 years in the States building and establishing New Sales Channels and developing new markets and then repeating the recipe in Japan for over a year before deciding he wanted to run his own business. In his current role, Paul is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, investigating and developing new business opportunities and leading the marketing team.
Tony Ruane – Business Development Director
Tony has been working in the data storage industry for 23 years. His career has spanned technical, sales and management roles in distribution, manufacturing, OEM and resellers and he has lived and worked in the UK, Australia, The Middle East and California. Prior to co-founding Redstor with Paul, Tony was at Legato Systems, where he ran the channel operations in the UK. Tony's role at Redstor is now the Business Development Director. In this role, Tony is commercially responsible for the products and services that Redstor offer, spending time with Redstor's many clients and ensuring that the company continues to deliver relevant services & solutions.
Chris Sigley – General Manager
Chris is the Redstor General Manager responsible for the day to day running of the company and his remit encompasses sales and marketing, service delivery and finance. He has been successfully heading up the Redstor Education Business Unit and has overseen its growth and evolution into a provider of key services and solutions around schools backup (RBUSS), device management (Centrastage) and encryption partnering with over 75 service providers in this sector and in excess of 12,000 schools. Chris originally joined the company in September 2004 and has progressed rapidly from being a New Business Executive, to Education Head to General Manager and he can well and truly say he has learnt the ropes from the ground up.
Dominic Anschutz – Operations Manager
Dominic is responsible for Redstors Operations and Service Delivery. He has been brought on board to ensure that Redstor has the foundations stones in place to keep pace with Redstors rapid growth and to make sure that our customer experience is excellent. A particular focus area for Dominic is to grow our managed and online services in line with our goal of providing the solutions behind the cloud to our partner base. Dominic also has a wealth of entrepreneurial experience which makes him ideally suited to assist Redstors expansion plans. He began his career in 1994 at Citigroup in England as an independent IT consultant. Since then his career has taken him across the world, working in Verizon (MCI), Barclays Bank and City of London Telecommunications. In 1998 he co-founded Turing Service Management seeking to deliver quality consultancy in the BMC Remedy market place. Under his guidance Turing became synonymous with quality consultancy within the BMC industry. Dominic played a key role in creating the Global Managed Services Division. Rising to CEO, he built one of the largest Global BMC services organizations in the industry. In 2007 he did an MBO of the recruitment division and started Resource Management Solutions a specialist recruitment firm with a radically new way of doing Technology placements based on product verticals. In 2009 Dominic merged RMS with ETICA and managed the strategy for SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, BMC and RFID resource management portals.
